Camera Awesome

I’m not one for messing with a good thing. I don’t keep M&M’s in my hand to see if they melt, I’ve never squeezed the Charmin, and you won’t find me watching any of the sequels to Beethoven. It just can’t get any better than a huge St.Bernard and Charles Grodin. That’s why I’ve never tried any other camera app on the iPhone besides the native one. It works great, it’s simple, and there’s nothing to set up. Then I came across Camera Awesome. Read more of this post

iPhone 4s – What’s missing?

[Disclaimer] I started writing this post the day after the iPhone 4s announcement, and finished it following the release.

Well that was an exciting day. We got to see Tim Cook on stage, hear about iOS5 again, learn how much butt apple is kicking, and get introduced to the lack luster iPhone 4s.  Don’t get me wrong, it’s a remarkable phone.  The camera looks to be amazing, and Siri sounds like it will never let me forget about my wife’s birthday. The one guy that changed the way we use technology, twice, is stepping down.  Well here are some reasons, or slaps in the face, to bring you back to your senses and restore hope in what you thought was all loss. Apple’s Next Big Move

It would be the understatement of the year if I was to say that Apple is doing pretty well.  They have the hottest devices, most reliable OS, and quite possibly the greatest marketing department ever assembled.  In the past 6 years Apple’s stock price has gone from $36 to $336 a share.  They’re making money like crazy, but not exactly spending it.  Over the years they have amassed an estimated $65 billion in cash reserves.  That’s enough money to buy a small country, or at least do something really cool.
